In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, the role of an artist extends far beyond the studio, workshop or stage. Being an artist today means being an entrepreneur. By embracing business skills, artists of all disciplines can take control of their careers, reach wider audiences, and create sustainable income streams – and 100 Mile Arts Network is committed to helping make that happen.
On November 30th, join us for a full-day professional development workshop to further develop the following key skills:
- Social Media for Artists
- Canada Council Funding
- Effective Bio Writing
- Website Design
Participants will also have the opportunity to have a professional headshot taken by photographer Shawn Moreton. Snacks and lunch from Pipolinka Bakery will be provided.
Participation fee: $50
Advance registration is required by e-transfer to finance@100milearts.net. A sliding scale for payment is available – all are welcome.
