About Us
We Are A Network of Artists and Venues Across the Outaouais
The 100 Mile Arts Network connects, supports, and promotes English-speaking creative professionals across the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, MRC de Pontiac, and MRC de la Vallée-de-la-Gatineau, where they have long lacked institutional support. By reducing isolation, creating opportunities, and boosting visibility, we’re building a stronger, more inclusive regional arts community.
Our Vision
To be the primary, English-speaking, arts community network hub that represents, supports and
strengthens the regional arts ecology across the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, MRC de Pontiac and the MRC de la vallée de la Gatineau while inspiring and activating creative artistic expression across the region.
Our Mandate
To activate all stakeholders in the arts and cultural ecology in the Outaouais, and build capacity for our members by developing and facilitating effective programming that addresses limitations and expands opportunities, regardless of location and equitable systems in place. To serve and
partner with artists of all disciplines, venue owners, event and community organizers, non-arts
service providers and suppliers, media outlets and others.
What We Do
For artists:
- Support artists with skill development and professional opportunities
- Facilitate networking, collaboration, and artistic exchanges
- Advocate for funding and support to keep the arts thriving
- Promote regional artists and their work
For venues/organizers:
- Represent an extremely talented membership to call upon in putting on a concert, art show, commission, or anything you can dream of
- Offer dedicated grants for paying musicians
- Provide support and reach in publicizing our events
For the public:
- Offer dynamic and diverse art shows, concerts, and workshops featuring regional talent
- Highlight cultural events and workshops across the region
- Provide a space in the heart of Wakefield to view and collect art by regional artists
- Share the inside scoop on what’s happening in the arts community through social media and our newsletter
At 100 Mile Arts Network, we believe artists strengthen communities and inspire change. Whether you’re an artist, organizer, or arts enthusiast, we invite you to join us in building a stronger, more connected arts scene!

Savanna Oliver
Videographer
My passion is storytelling. Everyone has a story. Everyone deserves to have a voice and anyway that might be. I don’t like flashy videos with music pasted over it. I am here to show and tell more than that, even in the most subtle ways. There’s the story, then the story behind it. I shoot want I love. I find that the truest form of art.
Sebastien Molgat

He studied Political Science at Queen’s university and founded the Arctic Youth Network, an international NGO supporting youth-driven change in the Arctic. His work in media, advocacy, and leadership development was recognized with a Top 25 under 25 Environmentalist award in 2020. He has a passion for storytelling and aims to promote the personal side of the issues of today.
