Promotional Material Requirements & Guidelines

To ensure proper acknowledgment of our partners and funders, all promotional materials for events and projects directly supported or organized by the 100 Mile Arts Network must include the following elements.

Guidelines:

  1. 100 Mile Arts Network Logo: Event support must be acknowledged with the text “In partnership with” and the 100 Mile Arts Network logo. Ensure appropriate clear space around the logo and ensure it is high-resolution and of sufficient size to be clearly readable and not pixelated.
  2. Secrétariat aux relations avec les Québécois d’expression anglaise (SRQEA) Logo: Include logo along with the text “With financial support from.” This logo represents a department of the Quebec government and is subject to rigorous appearance requirements, namely:
    • Placement: The funder’s logo cannot be placed in the bottom right corner.
    • Spacing: Ensure appropriate clear space around the logo. As a general rule, use the width of one quadrant of the logo’s QC flag as the minimum clear space on all sides (please refer to this document).
    • Resolution/Size: The logo must be high-resolution and of sufficient size to be clearly readable and not pixelated.
  3. Approval: All promotional materials featuring the funder’s logo require pre-approval from the government. Please submit your final design to seb@100milearts.net to begin the approval process. Approval can take up to 10 business days, so ensure that designs are submitted well in advance of being needed.

Importance of Adherence: Adhering to these guidelines is crucial for maintaining strong relationships with our funders and partners, and for ensuring the continued success of the 100 Mile Arts Network’s programming. Non-compliance with these requirements may impact future funding opportunities.

To make the process easier for you and increase the likelihood of first-try approval, we have prepared a series of templates that provide all the necessary elements, available here. These are split into graphics prepared for light backgrounds (Black) and dark (White). You are strongly encouraged to use these.
