About Us

We Are A Network of Artists and Venues Across the Outaouais

The 100 Mile Arts Network promotes and showcases local artists and venues from across the Outaouais region by:

  • featuring works from musicians, visual artists, performers and artisans through our online directory and social media channels
  • connecting artists with unique spaces and venues for their work
  • working in collaboration with our partners to offer professional development workshops
  • supporting individuals in the arts looking for work opportunities

The Gatineau Hills and surrounding Outaouais are part of a rich and diverse artistic and cultural landscape, and the area is home to many musicians, visual artists, performers and artisans that are looking to share their work with audiences. Likewise, the region has many unique cultural spaces and venues that provide artists with a platform to showcase their art and work and to connect with the community.

Our Vision

The 100 Mile Arts Network’s vision is to invigorate the local and regional arts economy and tourism by strengthening the artistic community across the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, MRC de Pontiac and the MRC de la vallée de la Gatineau by addressing limited internet access, issues of isolation and access to resources by the English-speaking community while inspiring creative artistic expression.

Let’s Connect

Our Network includes an online directory of artists, venues, and other people involved with the arts in the Outaouais. Anyone can join the Network by signing up and creating a public profile. These profiles can be used to direct interested parties to their work and services. We aim to make it easier to better connect and support individuals working in the arts and help to create opportunities for work.

Our Mandate

The 100 Mile Arts Network brings together all stakeholders in the cultural economy in the Outaouais: artists of all disciplines, venue owners, event and community organizers, service providers and suppliers, media outlets and others. We build capacity through member promotion, educational opportunities, skills development, artistic practice and business support.
