Reporting to the Chair, Operations Committee, Board of Directors and working closely with the Director of Communications, the Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 100 Mile Arts Network and to:
- Plan and implement projects, events and activities
- Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define tasks and required resources
- Hire and manage project team
- Work with the Treasurer to manage the project budget
- Allocate project resources
- Create a project schedule and timeline
- Create and manage the 100 Mile Arts Network annual calendar of events
- Support and direct team members
- Report to the board of directors on project status
- Establish and maintain relationships with individuals, organizations, partners
- Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
- Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables
- Evaluate and assess the result of the project, events, activities
- Maintain project documentation
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills in both official languages
- Problem solving and leadership skills
- Project planning, time management and other project management skills
- Experience in strategic planning
- Contract negotiation
- Conflict resolution experience
Compensation is based on completion of project deliverables at key milestones in the project for a total compensation of $12,000.00.
Term: September 2024 to March 31, 2025, with possibility of renewal for 2 years.
