Reporting to the Chair, Operations Committee, Board of Directors and working closely with the Director of Communications, the Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 100 Mile Arts Network and to:


  • Plan and implement projects, events and activities
  • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define tasks and required resources
  • Hire and manage project team
  • Work with the Treasurer to manage the project budget
  • Allocate project resources
  • Create a project schedule and timeline
  • Create and manage the 100 Mile Arts Network annual calendar of events
  • Support and direct team members
  • Report to the board of directors on project status
  • Establish and maintain relationships with individuals, organizations, partners
  • Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables
  • Evaluate and assess the result of the project, events, activities
  • Maintain project documentation


Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills in both official languages
  • Problem solving and leadership skills
  • Project planning, time management and other project management skills
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • Contract negotiation
  • Conflict resolution experience

Compensation is based on completion of project deliverables at key milestones in the project for a total compensation of $12,000.00.

Term: September 2024 to March 31, 2025, with possibility of renewal for 2 years.
