• Catherine Letendre

  President

  Catherine Letendre serves as the President of the Board for the 100 Mile Arts Network. With extensive experience in governance, strategic leadership, and community engagement in the public and private sector, Catherine is committed to fostering artistic talent and facilitating opportunities for professional growth within the arts community. She holds a college degree in Creative Arts, a B.A. in Economics and Political Science, an M.Sc. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, and completed PhD studies (all but dissertation) in Industrial Relations. Catherine lives in Low with her husband and two wonderful kids. She is an avid knitter and crocheter and is a hobby visual artist.
• Linda Daugherty

  Treasurer/Secretary

  Linda has been the Treasurer for 100 Mile Arts Network since 2021. As an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators Linda brings a wealth of administrative and accounting experience to the team. Linda enjoys volunteering in the local arts community and hiking with her dog in the Gatineau Park.
• Jolynn Sommervill

  Board Member

  Jolynn has a rich background programming and managing arts festivals, events and educational initiatives in both the not-for-profit and municipal sectors in Ottawa, and as an Assistant Director in the film and television industry across Canada. She currently serves as a Community Gallery Administrator for the City of Ottawa. Previous roles include Arts Centre Programmer at the Shenkman Arts Centre and Executive Director of iSisters, developing award-winning technology programs for women and youth.
• Cj Fleury

  Board Member

  cj is an interdisciplinary artist recognized for groundbreaking projects that bring the public into public art and stretch models of co-creative action in diverse social & educational contexts. Of 20 public commissions cj has completed, you may know Ottawa’s 15 granite & bronze sculptures in Little Italy; the Woman’s Monument Against Violence in Minto Park (CBC radio); the Anti-Poverty Activists Monument at City Hall; or the 1000 suspended glass pieces at Blair Station LRT; or, in QC, the giant enamel panels on the entry wall of C.E.G.E.P. Heritage. Public collections include: Canada Council Art Bank, City of Ottawa Public Art Program, Workers Heritage Museum, Daimon New Media Centre, DARC(SAW Video), Trent University, uOttawa’s Faculty of Law. Award-winning educator. CoFounding Artistic Director and Board Member with Radical Connections.
• Thomas Viola

  Board Member

  With over 35 years of experience in the music business, Thomas has built a dynamic career spanning multiple aspects in the Entertainment Industry. His expertise includes Booking Agent, Concert Promoter, Artist Management, Tour Manager, Song Publishing, Song Placement, Radio Promotion & Record Label Management at Baby Horse Records. Thomas has successfully produced more than 3,000 shows both in the Montreal area and internationally and has managed multiple emerging artists including co-managing a Canadian Idol Semi-Finalist. Beyond the Music Industry, he has served as a Judge for Beauty pageants. As a former Drummer with 18 years of performance experience, Thomas brings a well-rounded perspective to his work as a Music Industry Consultant & Record Label Manager. He was previously nominated for Best Promoter in the Montreal area. Additionally, Thomas’ career path has extended into the Financial Industry in investments which he received Best of the Best award & APM Platinum Advisor recognition & Entrepreneur where he continues to apply his valuable strategic skills and business acumen.

• Kate Weekes

  Programming Director

  Kate Weekes is a songwriter and instrumentalist based in the Gatineau Hills of Quebec. Kate grew up in the folk music community of Ontario and is currently the artistic director of Blue Skies Music Festival. Kate is a touring and recording artist. Her upcoming album, ‘Rideau Roots’ is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and features songs that examine our relationship to place and explore the colonial narrative that celebrates the Rideau Canal. Kate is enrolled in the diploma program at the Ottawa School of Art with a scholarship for printmaking. Her passion is building community through the arts.
• Beth McCubbin

  Gallery Manager

  Beth McCubbin has been working in the arts for over 25 years; as a visual artist, an objects conservator, an art instructor, a programmer in artist-run centres, a curator, a front-of-house, stage manager and set designer, and as a photographer and graphic designer. Engaging with diverse people and perspectives have enriched her creative process, and she brings with her a blending of practical skills with creative vision.
• Iris Kiewiet

  Project Coordinator - Art in the Park

  Iris Kiewiet is a Dutch Canadian artist living in Wakefield QC, with a bachelors from Arts Academy Minerva in The Netherlands. Her early career took shape in Rotterdam, where she worked as an illustrator for Dutch national newspapers and book publishers. Living close to the Tenàgàdino Zibi/Gatineau River, forests and hills, her work is influenced by eco systems and speaks to the cycles of life, care, and renewal. She created a public art piece at the Wakefield Spring, inspired by the aquifer and the rhythm of daily visitors. Kiewiet is a PAF artist member and has participated in The Artist in their Environment Tour, La Fab sub-committees, and other cultural initiatives in the Outaouais. Community art projects, independent book collaborations, studio painting series, and art in the schools workshops connect her work to the region.
• Sebastien Molgat

  Director of Communications

  Sebastien grew up in Wakefield participating in just about every cultural event and organization around. He studied Political Science at Queen’s university and founded the Arctic Youth Network, an international NGO supporting youth-driven change in the Arctic. His work in media, advocacy, and leadership development was recognized with a Top 25 under 25 Environmentalist award in 2020. He has a passion for storytelling and aims to promote the personal side of the issues of today.
• Jennifer Bisson

  Social Media Coordinator

  Jenn is a self-described ‘creative generalist’ and ‘solutioneer’ with a soft spot for string lights, community-building, belly-laughs, and things so beautiful you wish you could gobble them up (paintings, sunsets, babies…). She has been a professional artist, cook, event planner, published writer, and most recently, a mother. Her artwork has been exhibited, collected, and published internationally. She loves new ideas, old forests and ‘heartwork.’

  My passion is storytelling. Everyone has a story. Everyone deserves to have a voice and anyway that might be. I don’t like flashy videos with music pasted over it. I am here to show and tell more than that, even in the most subtle ways. There’s the story, then the story behind it. I shoot want I love. I find that the truest form of art.
