A Misfit Show ran from December 4, 2025 until February 5, 2026.
Location: 721 Chem. Riverside #205, Wakefield, QC
A celebration of the overlooked, out-of-context, and experimental
The 100 Mile Arts Network‘s winter exhibition celebrates local artists’ works that don’t fit in: outside their typical style, medium, subject matter – or just plain weird!
Lac-des-Loups musician Benj Rowland is joining the show with a block print – something he’s always wanted to do but never quite found the time for between years of touring. A scientific career sidelined Paola de Rose’s artistic ambitions until she returned to painting portraits in 2017. The piece in our show, however, is her first plein-air landscape painting in 48 years. Then there’s BD Braunek’s piece: left on the floor of her garage to weather (with a little help from her car!).
You’ll find these misfits and many more alongside our Boutique section of locally made, gift-worthy finds.
